Ode to James T. KirkOde to James T. Kirk by tommyboywood
Caesar of the stars,
Horatio in space.
Spent some time on Mars,
reared in another place.
Dashing, brave and true,
you made us dream again.
An earth so ever new,
where everyone's a friend.
Yet danger lurked out there (where)
no man had gone before.
Spock and Bones made quite a pair,
your friends forevermore.
In you we see ourselves,
explorers to the end.
In space our yearning dwells,
'til then we'll just pretend.
Star Trek: The Foundation (RPG - Augments 1990s)Hello everyone!Star Trek: The Foundation (RPG - Augments 1990s) by Karaben
If you are reading this it means that I have perhaps peeked your interest in joining an rpg! If this is the case, please read the details below and drop us a line on the website if you do feel you have interest!
Though it is based on the lore of the new Star Trek Movies (Star Trek & STID) it is based in the 1990s instead of the 22nd century and takes place on earth. It is about the reign of the augments (pretty much their super humans, no magical powers or such but enhanced speed, agility, strength etc) over earth and goes AU from there.
There is only two 'canon' characters (one of which is just a name reference not actually ever showed in the movies), so all the rest are completely original. We accept both Human and Augments on the site. It -is- fairly new, but I hope to over time gather a large base of people, but if you're willing to give us a chance I suspect you will like everyone who has joined so far!
If you have any questions, please feel free to either note me

Star Trek: 2409
“Gratitude (Khitomer Part 6)”
The four crewmen slowly materialize, and before they are able to draw their phasers, four Borg are setting up an alcove near the replicator. They ignore the away team who stand frozen, though as soon as they realize the Borg is ignoring them, they heave a sigh of relief.
“Remind me to fire Crewman Gardner Ensign Thrysis.” Valor comments in jest.
“Duly Noted, sir.” Thrysis’ dry reply brings a smirk to Valor’s face. The Borg continues their work, and one of the drones turns towards them, but after a moment, returns to its duties.
“They must not perceive us as a threat.” Shugunid says to Valor.
“Let’s keep it that way.
